News - Future of Acura NSX
As you may know, late last year, Honda cancelled it's 2012 NSX plan due to the costs associated with working and producing such a vehicle. But all hope isn't gone yet. According to Acura's senior manager of product development, John Watts, there is still a chance a NSX revival is in the works, however don't get too excited, as there is a catch. The future NSX model may be on a lower performance level and slightly smaller. According to Watts, "For it to be fully effective [as a halo vehicle for the brand], it couldn't be too far removed" from Acura's other products. Hopefully the idea of having a mid-level mid-sized sports car from Honda will help reinvent the segment. What do you think about this? A true NSX or just another disappointment from Honda?
