A marketing company is offering a second chance at a prize to people who received a direct mail promotion that declared them the winner of $1,000. The problem was the promotion for Roswell Honda contained a printing mistake that made all 50,000 scratch-off tickets the $1,000 winner. Just one ticket was supposed to win. Atlanta-based Force Events says it will offer a new sweepstakes with more prizes.
It's offering the other 30,000 recipients a special drawing August 4. It will offer $5,000 to a grand prize winner and $1,000 to each of 20 second-place winners.
