Honda has announced the worldwide cumulative sales of the Fit/Jazz has reached sales of 2 million units at the end of June 2007. The Fit/Jazz was first released in mid-2001 in Japan and in the midst of a few months, became Japan's best-selling car. Today, even though it is long in the tooth, it still remains as one of Japan's best selling cars. The Fit/Jazz is now available in 115 countries, manufactured at 6 facilities in 5 different countries and delivered to some 400,000 customers annually.

In Europe, since December 2001- Approx. 417,000 units
In Asia/Oceania, since January 2002- Approx. 230,000 units
In South America, since April 2003- Approx. 151,000 units
In China, since September 2004- Approx. 173,000 units
In North America, since April 2006- Approx. 77,000 units
