This is the Honda Prelude which was first introduced in 1978. The design was re-designed in 1983 which more powerful engines. This served as Honda's sports car even though the were cars such as the Chevy Corvette and the Mercedes SL that was bigger and more powerful than the Prelude. The third generation was introduced in 1988 and the fourth generation in 1992. The fourth generation (upper picture) had the worse seats, and dashboard even found on a Honda car and the price was astronomical. Later the fifth-generation in 1996 (bottom picture) was everything the fourth-generation wasn't except for the odd dashboard again! It was later knocked off as the top Honda vehicle in 2000 with the S2000 and later it died in 2002 because of slipping sales. There are rumors of a return of a Prelude in 2008/2009 but there is no conformation from Honda.
