Honda Motors has plans to launch the Acura line into Russia as early as 2008.
Including other Honda brands, Honda will aim to sell 100 000 vehicles per year in Russia by 2010, which would be over six times the last year's sales figure (2006).
Honda aims to set up 10 dealerships in Russia, putting one or two in major cities such as Moscow and St.Petersburg.
Honda sells the Acura line in North America, China and Mexico, but is yet to release the line in Japan.
