One last thing...

It seems as though from Honda Japan's website, the 2007 Japanese CR-V will debut tomorrow and the European CR-V a few weeks later. Stay tuned for this right here!

UPDATE: It appears that the Japanese CR-V will not debut as early as thought to be and it will debut on October 12th as noted on the website.

New 2007 Honda Life in Japan

This is the refreshed version of the cute, little kei car, Honda Life. This new version now features Smart Parking Assist system! I don't understand Japanese but if you do then you can pop to this website that's about the Honda Life Smart Parking Assist System: http://www.honda.co.jp/LIFE/smartparking/index.html

There's a new Canadian Acura website!

It's all here @ http://www.acura.ca (note this website is tuned for a screen of 1024 x 768 so all 800 x 600 screens will not see everything on the website completely). The new 2007 Acura RL, MDX and RDX info are on the website but some features such as Build & Price is not yet availabe because the vehicles is not yet in dealerships. The 2007 Acura TSX and TL info is not yet available as the 2007 Acura CSX (available only in Canada and is a luxury version of the Civic) info is available but not much else is available. It also seems that the website is still under construction so the website may not be completed.

2007 Honda S2000 now on sale!

This is the last year for the S2000. There are rumours suggesting that by 2008, there will be a similar S2000 convertible replacement but others are suggesting that in 2009, Honda will produce a Prelude replacement. I guess we'll just have to wait until 2008/09.

2007 Honda Accord Hybrid now on sale!

Though, not much changed for 2007, this is the last year for the Accord Hybrid featuring a V6 engine. Although, Honda has not specified if it will still produce a 2008 Accord Hybrid, it is most likely Honda would put that idea off or just put a hybrid powertrain into a 2008 4-cylinder Accord. Nonetheless, here's the website for the last V6 Accord Hybrid: http://automobiles.honda.com/models/model_overview.asp?ModelName=Accord+Hybrid

Honda Element SC on sale!

Euro Honda CR-V

Although, not on sale quite yet, the new CR-V was shown at the Paris Auto Show this week. It is expected on sale as soon as next week in the Europe.

Honda's Advanced VTEC engine

Honda has recently revealed the details about the new and better VTEC engine. The VTEC engine is torquier than the current VTEC and i-VTEC engines, the engine also sets the valves for low lift and early closure at lower load levels which will boost fuel economy. Also, the engine is punchier, more economical and cleaner-burning taking a LEV2-ULEV emissions. Honda says this new engine will make its way to a production vehicle in less than four years.

Honda's production-model FCX sedan

This is the new future production fuel-cell FCX model for 2008. The futuristic FCX Concept is targeted for limited sale in the U.S. and Japan in 2008, according to Honda and according to rumours, this ain't gonna be cheap!Honda's new fuel cell stack is 20 percent smaller than the one it developed in 2003, and can sit in between the driver and passenger's seats in the front, where the stick shift lies in a regular car. The fuel-cell stack weighs 67 kilograms (148 pounds) and it weights less than the 1999 and 2003 fuel-cell stack versions. Honda is also planning a next-generation diesel car to hit the market in less than four years. With all the manufacturers planning this and that, it seems that Honda is one of the only ones that is becoming more and more successful.

More from Japan's "Holiday Auto" Note: These are a little old

First off is the next-generation Acura NSX. The magazine states that the NSX will debut in some form during the next Detroit Auto Show (???) but however the production vehicle for Japan will come out in October 2008. Also the magazine states that the NSX will NOT use SH-AWD but will have seating for 4 and a 5.0 V10 500hp engine that rivals the BMW M6. Plus, the magazine has said that the price is going to be around $125 000 US. Note: This is only an illustration.

Secondly, this is the next-generation Honda Fit/Jazz. The magazine says that this new Fit/Jazz will make its intro in Japan on June 2007. Also looking at the similar new CR-V grille makes me wonder will this grille also stir so much controversy if it does make it to the production vehicle? Note: This is only an illustration.

Third, this is the next-generation Acura TSX/Honda Accord in Japan and Europe. The magazine states that there will be a SH-AWD, a 2.3 Turbo or a 2.2 Diesel and also it states that the intro date is September 2008 in Japan. Note: This is only an illustration.

Fourth, this is the next-generation Honda Accord (first car on top). This time, the magazine states that the Accord will borrow cues from the Civic. The possible engine selections are a 3.5 V6 and a 2.4 L4. The intro date is September 2007. Note: This is only an illustration.

Lastly, this is a future mini-SUV which compares to the Suzuki SX4. This will replace the Honda HR-V in Japan. The intro date is February 2007. Hmmm... look at that weird, upright Honda Element styling! Note: This is only an illustration.

Official Photos of the 2007 Honda CR-V

The CR-V probably still won't be liked by people but this style is starting to really grow on me
(yet, again!). One disappointment for the new CR-V is that the Real Time 4WD is not standard anymore, it will be available for all models. The EPA mileage estimates are: 2WD-23 City/30 Highway and 4WD-22 City/28 Highway.

UPDATE: It know seems that the Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System and Active Front Lighting will not be offered in the U.S spec CR-V but it will be offered in the Euro spec CR-V. A satellite navigation system w/ rearview camera is now only standard on the uplevel CR-V EX-L.

2007 Honda Civic Si Sedan

This was a little more than expected. The whole sedan now looks more racy. Although, I did want Honda do adopt the Civic Si Coupe's front end instead a regular Civic Sedan's front end. Also, I want Honda to adopt the Euro Civic interior. But this is kind of a surprise.
